OneSimpleFeed is a website-feed tool that lets site owners display content from public Instagram accounts.
1. Information we process
- Public Instagram source information: username, public profile details, public profile image, public follower/post counts when available, and recent public post information needed to render the feed.
- Feed configuration: feed names, feed identifiers, source assignments, layout/style settings, and database snapshots used to render embedded feeds.
- Basic server information: normal hosting and security logs may include IP address, browser user agent, request time, and requested URL.
2. What we do not collect
OneSimpleFeed does not receive or store an Instagram password and does not attempt to access private Instagram accounts.
3. Public Instagram collection
When a public Instagram username is added, OneSimpleFeed sends that username server-side to Apify's Instagram Profile Scraper. The provider returns publicly available profile information and recent public posts. OneSimpleFeed stores a database-backed source snapshot for approximately six hours to reduce repeated collection requests and may continue showing the last successful cached feed if a refresh is temporarily unavailable.
4. How information is used
We use this information to retrieve public Instagram content, cache source data, render website feed widgets, apply feed customization settings, refresh source snapshots, and troubleshoot feed or playback problems.
5. Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell or rent Instagram data. The requested public Instagram username is transmitted to Apify so it can retrieve the public profile and post data needed for the feed. Normal hosting and infrastructure providers may process data as necessary to operate the service.
6. Retention
Source records and related cached data are kept while the source is configured in OneSimpleFeed. Removing a source deletes its stored source record and database cache when the source is no longer used by a feed. Deleting a feed deletes that feed's configuration; a connected source remains available until you remove it.
7. Your choices and data removal
You can remove Instagram sources and feeds from the OneSimpleFeed dashboard. For a manual data-removal request, visit the Data Removal page or email feed@onesimplefeed.com.
